What Cedi Sheet collects and what it cannot promise
This page explains what the desk gathers, what it stores, and how it earns. It is written for a reader deciding whether to trust the figures.
What the site measures
Cedi Sheet measures one thing: the cedi against the dollar, as shown by two named public rates. The reference rate is the Bank of Ghana interbank mid for the latest day. The bureau rate is the median of Accra forex-bureau quotes updated within the last week. The gap is the bureau median divided by the interbank mid, shown in percentage terms.
Each figure is read from a published source and republished with the date and the hour it was read. The source is named under every table, with a link, so a reader can check the figure at its publisher. The desk does not calculate a rate of its own or blend the two rates into a single number.
What the site does not collect
Cedi Sheet has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics and stores nothing in the reader's browser. A reader can open the page, read the figures, and close the page without leaving a trace that this site can see or keep.
The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs. Those logs record that a device requested a page, but the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them. The desk does not combine those logs with anything else to build a profile of a reader.
How the desk earns
The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, the broker pays this site a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker because of the link. That commission is the only money Cedi Sheet receives.
The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy. Following the link leaves Cedi Sheet. The desk does not see what a reader does on the broker's site, and the broker does not see what a reader did here. The affiliate relationship does not change which rates are published or how they are measured.
The desk and corrections
Responsibility for the figures sits with the publication's editorial desk: Cedi Sheet editorial desk. The desk reads the named sources each time the page is updated, checks the date and hour against what is published, and answers a correction if a figure is wrong. No person is named as author, because the measurement is the desk's work, not one individual's.
Writing to editor@cedisheetgh.pages.dev reaches the desk. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. The desk cannot answer questions about what a reader should do with the rates, because nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation or an offer.
